Out of Hours
Surgery is open from 8.00am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday, closed on Bank Holidays.
Outside of these hours urgent problems are dealt with by our Out of Hours provider - Blackburn and District Medical Co-op in conjunction with NHS Direct. To access this service dial 08452 262626 or alternatively dial the practice number 01200 421888 and you will be automatically diverted to the Out of Hours service when the surgery is shut. You will be advised on how best your query should be dealt with, this will take the form of telephone advice, being invited to see the nurse or a doctor at the Out Patient Department at Clitheroe Community Hospital, or arrangements being made for a Doctor or District Nurse to visit you at home. During some times (such as through the night) you may be invited to attend the Out of Hours centre based at
Royal Blackburn Hospital.
